MY GRANDSON, LIAM'S CHRISTENING CAKE - NOAH'S ARK!
A busy week this week with cakes!
Yesterday it was one of my grandson's, Liam's, Christening at Plenee-Jugon and I made his cake. The theme was jungle animals and so I did a Noah's Ark cake complete with some animals.
The sponge was chocolate...of course, and filled with chocolate ganache and covered in ganache and then chocolate fondant icing for the main ark and the smaller hut on top.
The top of the cake board was covered in blue coloured fondant to make it look like the sea!
Luckily, the weather stayed good, although towards the end of the afternoon a bit of a breeze!
