Two Tier Semi-Naked Bambi Cake
I was asked to do a cake for Yona's cousin's baby shower party. This is a semi-naked cake, so not too much buttercream icing on the cake, but with scraped sides to reveal part of the cake. The sponge is vanilla with buttercream icing and strawberry jam between the three layers.
On the top and down the front there is edible gold leaf and the cake also has bambi gingerbread biscuits. The foliage is fresh rosemary and silk eucalyptus leaves.
