My New Toy - Philips AirFryer

I was fed up with our deep fat fryer and mainly the smell every time we had chips or fried anything in the deep fryer.  So having studied them for quite a while, I decided to go ahead and buy one.

Having looked at the SEB Actifry and the Philips and reading the comments on each of them, I decided to buy the Philips AirFryer Healthier Oil-Free Fryer which had the best reviews.  Having ordered it on Amazon.fr it arrived in only two days and of course, we couldn't wait to try it out. 

So far, we have had the usual frozen chips, as well as some spicy sweet potato wedges, and we are really pleased with it.  It does come with a recipe book and gives you lots of other ideas as well and of course full instructions.  So I will be working my way through the recipes now!

We can now cook chips or anything similar and not have the lingering oil smell in the house.  And of course, you don't have to buy those big bottles of oil for the fryer and it is also really easy to clean, and of course much healthier.  I really recommend that you try one. Oh, and it was much cheaper on Amazon.fr than Amazon.co.uk, so even better!
