Garlic is harvested and stored!

The weather is still good here in Central Brittany and after having a bit of rain a couple of weeks' ago, things in the garden are now growing like mad.  Last week was a busy week with Mandates, and looks much the same this week, so not a lot of time to do other things.

Yesterday, having picked the garlic about a week ago, Mr TK managed to sort them out and have them 'plaited' up and drying nicely.

Here they are finished

And we've hung them in the garage to dry!

I also managed to do a bit in the garden yesterday, it was a gorgeous hot day again, so it was hard not be to be outside in the sunshine!

Even the chickens like to come out for a stroll around.

We also have our first green pepper!

Tomatoes are producing well and we are picking about 5 a day now!

And we've loads of melons this year, not quite ready yet though

Not to mention all the cucumbers...don't mention the cucumbers!

More Tomatoes!

The Pumpkins are taking over, I've grown two different varieties this year, so we shall see!

We even had to plant some tomatoes outside this year
And also some in pots!
Sooty - our adopted cat - has had two more kittens, she lost her last one that she had in May, this is a real cute one, grey tabby!
And a little black and white one!
Dill trying to keep in the shade....bloody flies!
And my little 'chestnut'!
Already have a nice squash
The fennel has gone mad!
Bramble decided to go into the chicken run and pinch some of their cucumber!
